ABOUT CHILDREN'S FORTRESS AFRICA

Children's Fortress Africa (CFA) is a registered 'not for profit organization' (ABN 56 694 089 692) with the Australian government body - Australian Charities and not for profit Commission. We are also registered as an NGO in Kenya. Our Christian affiliation informs our ethos, with a call to serve all children regardless of their ethnicity, race, religious affiliation, social status, etc.  
CFA is based in Nairobi, Kenya. We work in collaboration with various actors to alleviate the plight of street-connected children in Kenya. Our mandate is to create an environment that supports the well-being of street-connected children before, during and after they are restored to the community.
We have a highly resourceful governing board that supports our strategic projects by providing administrative and program expertise. We also have an experienced and passionate staff team that is committed to loving service. In addition, we vet and engage volunteers at the grassroots to ensure efficiency in the monitoring support to reintegrated children within Nairobi and in rural areas where applicable. We are committed to deliver quality service through good stewardship of resources.
